The traditional cleaning products with the chemical base like bleach, chlorine and caustic will cause unpleasant effect when released to the earth after their use. Besides this, many of such products are irritating to the human skin that is allergic especially for the children

The eco friendly products are by and large safe even for the pets and children. Because of their safe characteristics many parents are eager to keep in the house as against the products which are based on harsher chemicals. The accidental exposure to them will create un pleasant side effects.

However, there are exceptions, all eco friendly or organic products are not necessarily safe in the strict sense. There are products which harm the skin or create very un pleasant experience if consumed accidentally or otherwise. So you have to take safety precautions even if it is eco friendly. Eco friendly means it is for the environment.

The eco friendly products are distinct because of their properties of bio degradation. Bio degradation is a biological process by which the products are breaks into smaller parts and form a part of the earth quit contrary to the chemical products which do not break itself but will form a separate mass in the earth.

The eco friendly companies are particular about to evaluate the raw materials they are using. They ensure to confirm before using the raw materials the following characteristics, they are not damaging the rain forest, by using this will it damage the living conditions of the endangered species or not. If they find any of this is affecting the existence of the above they will refrain from using it.

The first evaluation of the eco friendly products is, whether the basic raw materials are obtained after damaging any of the bio habitat. If the answer is positive they will discontinue the project and go for alternative options. For examples of this are, if the materials are from the rain forest, are they endangering the species etc. If they find that their actions affecting these, they will abandon the project.

The eco friendly companies are indeed doing great things in going for eco friendly products for their finished goods and helping the sustainability of the environment. Further to this they are the ideal employers too. Most of the companies are the signatories of the fair trade policy. This is to ensure the fair wages and perfect living conditions for the people who are engaged in eco friendly products. This may be costing the eco friendly products high. When you support the fair trade companies you are directly supporting the welfare of workers belonging to the third world countries too.

The idea of eco friendly companies are fast catching up the imagination of all progressive communities. Let us hope that there will be many more positive additions to it so that our future generation would be a contented society.
